Remember this little guy? After an hour-long nap, we were able to catch a few minutes of tummy-time to wrap up our session. I think he enjoyed his afternoon playtime! :)

{Paynter Boys} Woodstock, Virginia Child and Family Photographer
It has been exactly one year since I last photographed this family. They have grown so much in the last year but still have the same adorable features. Big brother with his signature cowlick and little brother with that ear-to-ear grin. I can get used to their tradition of annual ANP photo shoots, they always make for beautiful photos in my collection.

Woodstock, Virginia Newborn Photographer {Triplets}
Really, all I can say is WOW. Like, WOW. How does ANYONE do it? Seriously, just when you have one baby asleep, another is waking up to eat, then the next. How do you eat, sleep, shower, etc? I did all I could do to get these babies together for ONE peaceful shot.
These are some of the most important sessions. It's hard to remember the tiny details of a newborn because you're so tired and busy, and they grow so fast in those first few weeks. How in the world could you remember the smallest, cutest details of three? That is why I love this job. Looking back, years from now, Mom and Dad can look through their pictures and remember the shape of baby's feet, the dryness of his skin and the way he curls his fist up to his cheek while he sleeps.

Woodstock, Virginia Newborn Photographer {Baby "R"}
I was excited and anxious when my long time friend, Jamie asked me to take pictures of her ridiculously cute baby boy. Jamie's husband is an awesome photographer who has actually taught me a few things about my own camera (thanks Mike!). I was also a bit nervous as the baby was a few weeks beyond my two week window, but he was perfect.
