Sweet Lilly: 11 Days {Louisa, Virginia Newborn Photographer}

I loaded up and hit the road for Louisa on Thursday morning.  I was so excited to meet baby Lilly.  She is the most adorable little peanut with such a big personality already.  She put up quite the fight but gave up towards the end and allowed us to get some adorable shots. 

Her grandaddy is undoubtedly one of the biggest Alabama fans so I had to incorporate that into the session somehow. 

Thank you Bond's, for welcoming me into your home and allowing me to cuddle your precious Lilly!

Class of 2012: Allie {Woodstock, Virginia Senior Photographer}

You could never tell by looking at her that Allie isn't one for wearing make-up, dresses or posing for PICTURES!  She started off pretty shy in front of the camera, but as the day went on she was rockin' it.  Allie is a senior at Central and is an awesome softball player, such an athlete.  I'm so excited to hand over the photos from her session today!  For now, here are a few for everyone to enjoy.

Senior Night 2012

It was a bittersweet night, Friday night.  The class of 2012 seniors were announced down on the field as they escorted their parents to the center.  When I heard "Sean Semones" I had to fight back the tears.  This is the beginning of the end for him and it's so hard to believe.  I can still remember taking him to flag football practice when he was 5.  Time flies, it's true.

 On a much more exciting note, Sean had 3 of the 5 touchdowns that game!

This is a bittersweet for me as it will be my little brother's last.  I've known this group of kids since they were so young, I can't believe it's almost time for them to venture on to college.  Keep checking for more action shots throughout the season, for now, I'll leave you with the season opener, CHS vs. BHS.

Isn't she beautiful?  I spent the evening with this beautiful Senior all around Winchester.  She knows how to rock the camera.  Working with clients like Shai is so refreshing.  As much as I love to take pictures and as much as she likes having her picture taken, we went on and on.

Biggest Little Baseball Fans!

I had the best time with little Drew listening to his stories, checking out his Bo Sox Gear and photographing him in his room.  This guy has THE coolest baseball room.  I bet his dad's friends are jealous that Drew's Finway bedroom is so awesome! 

When Drew's little brother, Miller made his debut, he was surprised with a new baseball glove.  He LOVES baseball (and Cars!) so this was the perfect gift!

We're a Host Family

Here in the Valley, there is a summer baseball league.  Kids from colleges all over the country come to the area and play lots and lots of baseball in hopes of making it big.  When I was still living at home, Brett Gardner (who now plays center-field for the New York Yankees) played in this league, he even came to our house once (pretty cool, huh!?).  Now that we are settled in Woodstock, we were asked to host a "River Bandit", after convincing Daniel that we "needed" another (because my 18-year-old brother stays with us a lot) teenager in the house, we finally agreed to give it a try. 

On Monday we met our house guest.  My older kids call him their "summer brother".  How cute is that?  Bobby, our "summer brother" is from Las Vegas, attends UNLV and plays first base.  He's only been here a few days but hopefully the culture shock will wear off soon!  We were fortunate to have landed such a considerate and respectful Bandit.  I already know we're ALL going to miss him when he goes home.

Tonight was the first game of the season, of course "we" won.  All of the guys had a great game and there were even some great plays made by the Luray Wranglers.
